Carroll Jamieson

Carroll-Jamieson of Batavia, OH began making lathes in the early 1900’s and continued in business up into the 1980’s. In their early years, they offered both a full back geared screw cutting metal lathe as well as a wood lathe. As a part of this foot powered line, they offered a kick wheel, sets of headstocks & tailstocks from which you could build a wood bed lathe as well as related tools.

It appears these were not as popular as some makers as not many are observed today. At this time, I am not aware of any complete foot powered machines.

Here are some pages from a company catalog that looks to be from the 19 teens to 1920’s.
